Daniel was born in Jacksonville, Florida in September 1967. His family moved
around for awhile with the military, until they arrived in Alaska in 1970 or so. They lived in Anchorage for a time and then moved to Delta Junction (aka Big Delta), Alaska. He has two younger sisters, Gretchen (March 70) and Erica (July 71) .
The name Daniel is of Hebrew origin, meaning My Judge is the Lord.
Gretchen has three chilren: Amber (Aug 89), Brigitte (Oct 90), and Tamara (Feb 92). They live in Tennessee. The name Gretchen is of Greek origin, meaning Pearl.
Erica has four children: George Jr. (July 91), Emily (Jun 93), Matthew (Aug 95), and James (May 97). They live in Alaska. The name Erica is of Latin/Germanic origin, meaning The
Heather, powerful ruler.
Daniel enjoys electronics a lot! He loves game systems, computer games (mainly RPG - Role Playing Games). He loves Sci Fi shows, and watching NASCAR races. He got to see his first NASCAR race in real life - the Dura Lube 500 (1999).
He works full-time as a Biomed for Hill-Rom. He repairs medical equipment such as respirators, preemie beds, pulse oximeters, etc. He also works "on call" to deliver equipment to whatever hospital may need it.
Daniel was called to Duty in "Operation Allied Force" from May 5th to June 25th 1999. He was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany during this time.
